Executive Director Update

With gratitude for my time with the Association, I share that I am concluding my tenure as Executive Director of the Social Workers Association of Alberta (SWAA) effective March 13, 2026. It has been a true privilege to serve in this role and to witness the continued growth, stability, and strengthening of our Association.

I am deeply grateful to our Board for their unwavering commitment to the vision and mission of the Association, and I want to extend a heartfelt thank you to Evetta, our Membership Coordinator, for her dedication and care for both our members and the organization. To all of our members - thank you for your trust, your passion, and your commitment to advancing social work across Alberta. It has been an honour to share in this journey with you.
