ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING
NOTICE OF MEETING
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the 2026 annual general meeting (the “AGM”) of the Social Workers Association of Alberta (“SWAA”)is scheduled to take place on:
Date: Tuesday, April 21, 2026
Time: 6:30 pm – 8:30 pm
Location: Online via Zoom
The matters to be considered at the AGM include, and are limited to:
receiving reports from the president and executive director;
receiving the financial statements;
appointing auditors for the fiscal year ending March 31, 2026;
electing directors.

Following the formal AGM, we are pleased to announce that Linda Kreitzer will present on the topic Engaging in Change: From Local Practice to Global Impact.
Attendance and Registration:
Attendance is open to all members, with full participation rights open to voting members of the SWAA.
