Foundations in Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP): Four-Day Intensive

ERP is the gold-standard psychological treatment for OCD, yet many clinicians receive limited formal training in its implementation. This comprehensive workshop provides participants with a strong foundation in the theory, assessment, conceptualization and practical application of ERP across the lifespan.

Participants will learn how to accurately assess OCD, develop individualized case conceptualizations, construct effective exposure hierarchies, implement imaginal and in vivo exposures, identify and reduce subtle compulsions, address family accommodation and navigate common treatment challenges.

A training partnership between Wilfrid Laurier University Faculty of Social Work Professional Development and True North Psychotherapy.

Location: Zoom

Instructor:Frank Pew, MSW, RSW

This workshop is a required prerequisite for the Advanced Certificate in Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP).

Dates: September 16, 17, 29 and 30, 2026

Time: 7:00 AM to 2:00 PM
