Nov 11: Remembrance Day

We Remember. We Honour. We Support.

Today, we pause with deep respect to honour the courage, sacrifice, and unwavering service of the brave men and women who have served, and who continue to serve, our country, at home and abroad.

On this Remembrance Day, we wear the poppy with pride and gratitude, remembering those who gave their lives for our freedom. We remember the fallen, the veterans, the wounded, and the countless families whose lives were forever changed by war. We honour their stories, their strength, and their legacy.

And we extend our deepest gratitude to the families of the fallen, whose grief echoes through generations. We stand in solidarity with veterans, active service members, and their families. We honour their journeys - not just on the battlefield, but through the complex transitions that follow.

We thank Social Workers, past and present, who have walked alongside those who carry the visible and invisible wounds of.

On this solemn day, we reaffirm our commitment to peace, dignity, and justice--values at the heart of our profession and essential to the freedoms we cherish.

Lest we forget.
