Call to Join a Community of Practice (Participants)

SWAA is happy to invite you to join our new Communities of Practice (CoP).

Communities of Practice are spaces created for social workers to come together around shared areas of practice. They offer an opportunity to connect with peers, reflect on real-world experiences, exchange perspectives, and learn alongside others who understand the context and complexity of social work practice.

Why join a CoP?

  • Connect with social workers who understand your practice context

  • Talk through challenges in a supportive space

  • Exchange tools, strategies, and resources

  • Build meaningful professional relationships

  • Stay engaged in your area of practice

  • Support ACSW’s new competency requirements through peer-based learning

  • Receive a certificate of participation after active involvement for six months

See attached Call_to_join_a_CoP.pdf for details.

To join a COP, please login on Member Portal and complete a registration form.
