Changes to the Continuing Competence Program
ACSW is making changes to the Continuing Competence Program to simplify requirements and strengthen regulation of Alberta’s growing social work profession. These take effect in January 2026.
Participation in the competence program remains a mandatory requirement of registration.
ACSW will be hosting webinars in October, November, December, of 2025 and January 2026.
