ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING
NOTICE OF MEETING
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the 2025 annual general meeting (the “AGM”) of the Social Workers Association of Alberta (“SWAA”) is scheduled to take place on:
Date: Wednesday September 24, 2025
Time: 6:30pm – 8:30pm
Location: Online via Zoom
The matters to be considered at the AGM include, and are limited to:
receiving reports from the president and executive director
receiving the financial statements;
appointing auditors for the fiscal year-ending December 31, 2025; and
electing directors.
Knowledge Keeper, and Guest Speaker:
Knowledge Keeper: Ken Armstrong
Guest Speaker: Wakefield Brewster will present at the opening and closing of the AGM.
Attendance and Registration:
Attendance is open to all members, with full participation rights open to voting-members of the SWAA.
